Starke Yacht Care Single Sided Step 2 Yellow Wool Polishing Pad is a single-sided yellow wool polishing pad for Step 2 refinement after heavy cut—hook-and-loop mount with a washable backing for polishing and finishing passes on gelcoat and paint.
Available in 3" and 7.5" (YWPAD3 / YWPAD7.5). 7.5" size uses ~1.50" pile wool-blend single ply for polishing/finishing after Step 1 white wool compounding.

How to use
- After Step 1 cut, mount the yellow pad and load a polishing compound
- Refine the section at moderate speed until haze clears and gloss builds
- Wipe residue; clean the pad; move to protection (wax, sealant, or ceramic)
Note: Finishing/polish stage—will not replace a heavy-cut pad on chalked gelcoat. Keep separate from cutting pads and wash when loaded.

Absolutely. We will have a boat in the shop to work on. We typically focus on the hull sides. All the Starke products, pads and machines will be on display and available for use.
Will there be classroom work?
Yes. We like to sit down and go over some over the basics. We will have a presentation and slideshow. We start by introducing everyone. We like to ask why each person came and what they wanted to gain from this experience. Once we figure that out we can then dial in the message to focus on where everyone needs the most information.
